Curl Specialist
I have lived in Nottingham all my life, from a BIG & supportive family 🇮🇪 🇬🇾 I got married last year to my better half Phil, we have a crazy mini me (Parker) who is 5 & my step son (Hendrix) who is 10
I started Curls by Hetty to help support the curly community with tips & tricks I already knew as I felt at the time I was pretty good with my curls but felt the influencer style wasn’t for me.
I followed @thecurlclinic for years waiting for the appointment drop & always missed out. Then I noticed @thecurlcliniceducation appear, watching the incredible work of Kimberley, I was amazed & knew straight away this is what I wanted to do. So here I am a curl specialist, credited by the UK’s 1st curly hair course
I’ve gone from relaxing my hair at 17 to growing it out at 25 & then embracing them completely at 31. I am now 38 & totally in love with everything CURLS! I have worked in the hair & beauty industry since I was 18
(jeeez, these numbers make me feel old)
Having my little boy who has the best curls made me want to find someone who specialises in curls, so I did it myself. I had my first curly cut this this year & have never looked back.
I consider myself to be just like my curls, fun, wild, free spirited with a mind of my own. Obsessed with my family & friends, who loves laughter, music & a dance floor
